My younger sister,Xinxin,is a girl of 7.The new school year begins,and she goes to school every day.Xinxin likes her lessons a lot and works hard at them.My mother always takes her to school in the morning,and brings her home in the afternoon.

When Xinxin is at school,she listens to her teachers carefully and likes to answer her teachers’ questions.When class is over,she goes out of the classroom to play games with her classmates.She is friendly to them.

When Xinxin is at home,she does her homework first.After supper,she helps mother clean the floor.Then she’ll watch tv for a short time if mother permits.

One Saturday, John,May,Ken and I went to have a picnic in the country.We brought two baskets with everything in them and set off. It was a fine day.We rode along the road and got into the country.It was sprinf time and the fields were green. We stopped near the woods.There was a brook running through the woods. There was grass and flowers under the trees beside the river.We played and sang.At noon,we sat under the trees,took out the bread,sausage and fruit,hard a picnic lunch.After that,we collected the rubbish and threw it into a dustbin. It was a pieasant Saturday.

I’m glad that I was born in autumn.The weather in autumn is neither too hot nor too cold.I like the autumn’s colours.They are warm colours. The trees are very pretty in October.The leaves change form green to red and yellow. I love to go to the country to help with the harvest.I like to see the fresh fruitsin the markets. I like to eat them too!

I rise in the east.I send my light here and there and into your room to tell you it is time to get up.I shine on trees,houses,hills and water.I make everything beautiful.I mke fruit and rice ripe.I give you light and heat.I am high up in the sky.Sometimes I hide my head behind a thin cloud when I run in the sky.I never stop or feel tired.But in fact it’s the earth running all the time. Can you guess who am I?
