Bunratty Castle The Bunratty castle was originally a viking trading camp in 970. Robert de Muscegros built the first defensive fortress in 1250. In the 19 century, the castle was used as a barracks for the Royal Irish Constabulary. The building is located in county Clare. This destination gets 400,000 visitors.
