The Town of Gravenhurst recently initiated a Review and Update of its 2008 Official Plan as directed by Section 26 of the Planning Act and will hold a Special Meeting of Council and two Public Workshops to discuss revisions that may be required to the current Town of Gravenhurst Official Plan.

The Town of Gravenhurst has Wedding Commissioners available to perform Civil Marriage Ceremonies for those who are looking to keep things simple.

Our Commissioners offer a variety of sample ceremonies to choose from and can host your ceremony anywhere within the Town of Gravenhurst including your home, at our beautiful Wharf, a local venue of choice or Town Hall.

What’s Happening at The Gravenhurst Public Library

Semi Annual Used Book Sale - Saturday September 12th to Saturday Sept. 19th during regular library hours. The library is also accepting donations of used books in good condition for the sale.

Story time resumes Tuesday September 22nd at 10:15 am

Travel the World Series starts Tuesday October 6th at 7:00 pm and runs each Tuesday throughout the month. Refreshments will be served.

Rabies/Dog Tag Day - September 26In partnership with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, a Rabies/Dog Tag Day Clinic will be held Saturday, September 26th at the Gravenhurst Dog Park (1600 John St. Gravenhurst) from 9 am-11 am. 2016 Dog Tags will be sold.
