During four days we will be training Takemusu Aikido – Taijutsu as well as Ken and Jo. There will be a party on Saturday evening and a lecture on Budo philosophy and history on Sunday evening. With more than 40 years of experi- ence in Traditional Aikido, the club is the oldest existing Iwama “Style” Dojo outside Japan, and one of the largest Aikido dojos in Scandinavia. ULF EVENÅS Ulf is 7 dan Aikikai and Aikikai Shihan. He was also awarded 7 Dan and full certification in Bukiwaza (5th level) by Morihiro Saito Sensei, who also appointed Ulf a Shihan and his personal representative in Northern Europe. After training Karate, Ulf started Aikido in 1968 and Takemusu Aikido in 1969. He went to Iwama to study under Morihiro Saito Sensei in 1973 for half a year, and went back for a longer stay in 1977. From 1981 until 2002, Ulf has at least once a year, trained under Morihiro Saito Sensei, in Iwama or on seminars. Ulf is the head teacher of Gothenburg Aikido Club and continues to spread Aikido by teaching seminars worldwide. Accomodation At Gothenburg Aikido Club or Frölunda Judoklubb (35 SEK per night).
