Well, it was great to celebrate the Class of 2019 on Wednesday night and our two Sunday morning services. Congratulations and best wishes to our graduates as you enter the next phase of your life. We are thankful to Floyd White and Tim Peck for putting together the slide presentation for the Wednesday service for our graduates.

As we are entering the summer there will be many activities for the children and youth. We look forward of this time of fun and relaxation.

NASHVILLE MISSION TRIP 2019Please prayerfully consider going on the Nashville mission trip this June 30-July 5. The trip will be an exciting opportunity to be Christ’s hands and feet and learn about inner-city poverty. Our hosting organization, City Service Mission (CSM), is planning a great week for us with incredible guides to make sure we serve in meaningful ways. FOOD BANK SUNDAYWe'd like to encourage you to remember the Thomas County Food Bank on the 4th Sunday of each month. Feel free to give monetary donations during the offering or bring non-expired, canned goods and put them into the box labeled "Food Bank" under the stairs in the fellowship building.

CALLING ALL MALE SINGERS AGES 12+We want YOU for June 23!

TFUMC will have a Men's Ensemble Sunday June 23, with all music being provided by men from our congregation for both the Contemporary and Traditional Services (in their normal locations). Breakfast will be served for our musicians between services. Sign up on our website: https://tfumc.com/mens-ensemble-sign-up/.

Instrumental playing is encouraged as part of our ensemble's performance! You may indicate voice part and/or instrument on the sign-up.

Music reading is not required, but encouraged. Regular participation in musical ensemble not required. This is just a great time to have some fun in the summer!

Rehearsals: 6/12 @ 6:00-7:30pm and 6/22 @ 10:00-11:30am in the Choir Room.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES START SOONOur Children's Summer Activities begin on May 29 with a trip to the Challenger Learning Center in Tallahassee, FL. This trip is for children who have completed kindergarten-6th grade. The cost is $25, and this includes a planetarium show, IMAX movie, science lab and lunch. What a deal!

The next activity will be Saturday, June 1, when we take a ride on the SAM Shortline Railroad. This trip, also for K-6th, will include riding the train from Cordele to Plains, lunch, sightseeing and maybe even peanut ice cream! The cost is $40. NOTE: The date for this trip has been changed from Friday to Saturday.

Mission Mondays begin Monday, June 3. Mission Mondays are a chance for children to complete kid-friendly mission projects and enjoy time with other kids. For the first Mission Monday, we will go blueberry picking and bring the blueberries back to the Food Bank. We will also prepare some items for the Rwanda mission team to take with them.

And that's just the beginning! Call the church office to register for these events and find out what else is in store!

CAPITOL BELLS CONCERT 5/30 at TFUMC!Come hear an All-Star Handbell Choir from the Tallahassee and Thomasville area on Thursday May 30, 7pm in the Fellowship Building! Capitol Bells is celebrating their 10th season with an exciting concert program. Refreshments will be offered starting at 6:30pm.

COURTESY PARKINGOn Sunday mornings the parking places in front of the church are designated as courtesy parking. We provide these parking spaces for people with disabilities, the elderly, parents with mutiple young children and first-time guests.
