ALFA

ALFADrain solutions for the removal of surface water and other effluents through linear drainage

Linear drainage collects water and effluents along the length of the channel line through thedrainage gratings and removes the fluids into the underground drainage system.

This type of drainage system makes the design and laying-out of areas and maintenace con-siderably easier than spot collecting methods and avoids the installation of buried pipes andimproves the water-transfer process.

Savage ALFADrain features:

• A choice between slope or stepped falls or flat channel

• Chemical resistance to saline or acid-water, de-icing salts, petrol and oils etc

• Higher mechanical strengths: resistance to bending and comprehensive strengths

ALFAMax200

To withstand the strain caused by rolling loads, ALFADRAIN channels have to be embedded in concrete.

To guarantee the long service life of the product, the concrete level should be 2 to 3 mm above the channel.

Bedding characteristics depend on therequired resistance class. For Classes A and B,the concrete does not necessarily have toreach the upper level of the channels.
