Last night our family sewed a banner for Grandpas birthday. It was made from scraps of cloth that were sewn together into one large sheet with needles and thread. We cut out bright letters and shapes. To make a colorful border, everyone wrote birthday wishes around the edges of the banner. We will hang it up at the yearly gathering for his birthday.
