WELCOME TO YOUR EMA LEARNING TRAINING

DIRECTORY FOR 2017

Hi all,

Welcome to your EMA Learning training directory for 2017.

Thank you for choosing EMA Learning. We take pride in partnering and helping New Zealand businesses like yours, grow and succeed through stimulating, motivating and up-to-date training.

This year we want to make it easy for your entire team to up-skill and help your business succeed, so we’ve made a few changes to help you do this:

Save money with group bookings They say sharing is caring - so this year show your workmates you care by sharing your learning experience - and save while you're at it.

Book for two or more of your team on the same course and you’ll get a great discount on training:

For example – A one day course is $640.00 (for an early bird booking for members) and each subsequent workmate is only $450.00, so if you book for two people it’s only $1,090.00, for three just $1,540.00 and for four $1,990. See page xyz for full details.

We will, of course, continue to offer all the programmes and opportunities that set us, and you, apart, including;

• Direct access to EMA team members, able to give you personal and tailored advice about your team’s potential training and development pathways.

• The opportunity to equip you with nationally - and internationally - recognised qualifications.

• Practical, hands on learning that you can take back to your business and use the next day.

• Greater flexibility with Digital Learning. Get ‘match fit’ with pre-course interactive learning sessions and post-course assessments. In 2017 we continue to advance the tailored e-learning opportunities for your business, using your business materials – so your team know your game plan.

• Tailored Solutions. The demand for specialised, integrated training continues to grow. We’ll come to you and put a complete programme together with multi-day bespoke training designed to leave, you with a champion team – and a team of champions.

2017 is most certainly the year to continue your training with EMA. With a new state of the art training facility, the latest training techniques and information in all the important areas of your business, we’re committed to providing you with business training at its best.

I look forward to working with you and your team this year.

Thanks,

David Foley (on behalf of the fantastic EMA Learning team)General ManagerEMA Learning

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR TRAINING

You may be able to access funding to help with training. Here are a number of options you might like to try:

ACCELERATE SUCCESS The Accelerate Success programme helps business owners who are serious about investing in business growth. The programme is run by Regional Business Partners, which were set up by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) and Callaghan Innovation to be local hubs of business development expertise and research and development expertise.

Through Accelerate Success, Regional Partners offer an assessment service which helps you prioritise training and development needs and points to any support which might be available from the public or private sectors. If you’re looking to take your small business to the next level with a new product or phase, they’re the people you ought to talk to.

NZTE CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT VOUCHERS

After a business has met with a Regional Business Partner and undergone a capability assessment, the Regional Business Partner may advise that key management staff invest their time in specific training.

In some cases, businesses are provided with an NZTE Capability Development Voucher to use as a partial payment towards the cost of training and business development services.

The value of vouchers issued will vary and they can be used to cover up to 50% of the full cost of the service fee up to a maximum value set by the issuing Regional Business Partner. The maximum amount a business can receive in one year is $5,000 excluding GST.

EMA is a registered service provider with excellent training opportunities under the Capability Development scheme.
