1. INTRODUCTION This section provides information on new products and functionalities for EVS’ Gateway solutions to facilitate the exchange of media between EVS and third-party systems.

XFile3: > A new operating mode is available to stream media to destinations defined within the system, > A new operating mode is available to automatically restore content from a scan folder to one or multiple servers, > An improved Template management > Several GUI improvements

Xsquare: > The new version of Xsquare 2.02 includes new administration tools, > Integration of Xsquare with Active Directory, > It is possible to publish or hide to User groups certain targets created in Xsquare, > And other improvements have been implemented as explained in the next sections.

XFlyStreamer > The latest version of XFlyStreamer enables the backup of files towards 2 destinations (file redundancy), > Job Templates from Xsquare will be used to define the wrapper, > Streams can be scheduled in the future and stopped immediately if needed, > GUI improvements.

2. XFILE3 – VERSION 2.06 2.1. IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW FUNCTIONALITIES The new release v.2.06 of the XFile3 software offers the following new features: > Streaming : the software now allows streaming of cameras through a new mode accessible in the Menu bar.

> Auto-restore: the software now also allows the use of a scan folder to automatically restore content to one or multiple servers.

> Template management: there is a distinction that is made between the system and the user templates. At the same time, the ability is offered to export and import templates.

> Ability to start/stop backup rules and jobs > Ability to retry failed jobs > GUI improvements :

> Grid layout is saved at shutdown of the application > Restore : estimated restore position is now indicated

when the restore is scheduled, > Mapped drives can now be used in all functions except

auto-restore, > Warning indication if GBE server boards are not

accessible in Jumbo frames. For additional questions please refer to the Release Note on the EVS Website.

3. XSQUARE – VERSION 2.02 3.1. IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW FUNCTIONALITIES New features of the Xsquare solution are described in detail in the Release Note accessible through this link.

However, here is a brief overview of most of them:

> Xsquare 2.02 includes a few new administration tools: creation of users, creation of user groups and of course access management for these Users and Groups,

> Together with these new users and groups, it will be possible to integrate Xsquare with Active Directory, so that groups and users are automatically created in Xsquare,

> Now that these user groups are available, we also have the possibility to publish or hide certain targets created in Xsquare,

> A new feature ‘Trim Clip’ is proposed and allows defining in the profile, to export clips without guardbands,

> When creating XML or Scan Folders, it is possible to save and start their Job Initiator in one click,

> When a SOAP target has been created it is possible to see the GUID from the Xsquare interface.

4. XFLY STREAMER – VERSION 1.04 4.1. IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW FUNCTIONALITIES New features of the XFly Streamer application are described in detail in the Release Note accessible through this link.

However, here is a brief overview of most of them:

> File redundancy management: allows the backup of files towards 2 destinations, for example as main/backup purpose,

> Job Templates: Xsquare templates will be used to define the wrapper; also, the option of adding Avid AAF Metadata and set the Avid Tape name format string is available,

> Stream recording: streams can be scheduled in the future and stopped immediately if needed. The maximum duration for recording can also be changed during the streaming process,

> GUI Modifications: The User Interface has been adapted towards the new features and can also be locked to prevent bad manipulations.
