Purpose of survey “Transferring to another school can be stressful, especially if

one has a disability. My sophomore year I transferred to Whitewater University because of the wonderful things I’ve heard about the university’s accommodations for students with disabilities. While there are programs to assist incoming freshmen with disabilities, I found that there were no programs* for transfer students with disabilities. I sought out a mentor to help me navigate my way. I found it extremely helpful to have a “go to person.” This survey will help me determine interest in a mentorship program for other transfer students with disabilities. Thank you so much for taking the time to take this survey and for sharing your ideas!”

*I recently discovered that transfer programs are in place, but aren’t well known to transfer students.
