Log into your Application Status Check to view and print a copy of your official Offer of Admission, view and agree to the Terms of Admission, and check out the myNEU Portal instructions and other important documents.

Read through this packet and follow up by visiting the Admitted Students website.

Submit the non-refundable enrollment deposit by the date indicated on your Terms of Admission. Pay your enrollment deposit online through your myNEU Admitted Student Portal—look for the Pay My Deposit link on the Self-Service tab.

If you plan to live on campus, submit your housing deposit through your myNEU Admitted Student Portal. Transfer students are not required to live on campus. Housing is based on space availability on the date you deposit and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Register for a mandatory Orientation program within a week of your enrollment (through myNEU Admitted Student Portal).

Send final records via email to [email protected] or mail to Northeastern University, Application Processing Center, P.O. Box 8210, Portsmouth, NH 03802 USA.

Send Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or official secondary-school national exam test results for advanced credit (if applicable).

Complete change-of-address information online at myNEU Admitted Student Portal (if applicable).

> Your transfer credit evaluation will be made available to you within the next couple of weeks.

> To ensure we have the most up to date information you should forward an updated college transcript with final semester grades.

> If you have completed an AP, IB, or GCE examinations, request that the results be sent to Northeastern.

> Participation in dual enrollment programs while in high school may also be considered for transfer credit. You must submit the official college transcript from the institution that hosted courses.

ORIENTATION

Orientation is mandatory for all transfer students enrolling at Northeastern. At your one day Orientation you will meet with your academic adviser to choose classes. You will also meet with other departments such as Financial Aid, Housing, and Campus Safety, who are vital to your success at Northeastern. Orientation information is sent via your Husky email account once you deposit.

HOUSING

Transfer students may choose to live on campus, but are not required to do so. If you plan to live on campus, please note that space is limited. You should submit your housing deposit through your myNEU Admitted Student Portal by the date indicated on your Offer of Admission.

VETERANS

> We honor and value your service to the country and look forward to welcoming you to the Northeastern community. Northeastern participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and Post 9/11 GI Bill. Northeastern offers grants and scholarships, participates in federal aid programs, and offers information on alternative financing, including the Northeastern Payment Plan. Student Financial Services can answer any questions you have.

If you completed the financial aid process by the appropriate deadlines, your financial aid and scholarship offer (if applicable) will be available on your Application Status Check. All incoming students requesting need-based aid must complete the CSS Profile and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Log on to myNEU.neu.edu.

Click on “How do I get a myNEU username and password?”

Read the computer and network policy, and accept the terms to continue.

Click on “Admitted Portal Issue.” To verify your identity, you will be asked to provide the following information:> The last four digits of your Social Security number or use the International Student ID number

(900-number) assigned to you in your Terms of Admission> Your five-digit (permanent address) ZIP code. If you do not have a U.S. ZIP code, use 02115 > Your last name as it appears on your offer of admission. If inaccurate on your offer of

admission, please email [email protected] before you create your account, and include the correct spelling of your last name. You will receive an emailed response within 48 hours and may use that information to create your myNEU account

> Your date of birth > A phone number

Choose a password. Remember this password, and do not share it with anyone. Provide a challenge question answer.

Enter your NU ID number as it appears on your offer of admission. Once the process is complete, please print the confirmation page for your records.

Use the subject line “Admitted Portal Issue” and include the last four digits of your Social Security number, your ZIP code, and your full name as they appear on your offer of admission, as well as a phone number. We will respond within 48 hours.
