WHO WE AREAdMarula was founded in 2011 by Daniel Gross and Daniel Bernholc, a Swedish duo with backgrounds in system development and financing of early-stage tech businesses.After spending some time in the country and speaking to various players in the industry, they identified a need for a new performance marketing company in South Africa, where the online landscape is in an exciting phase and advertisers need more flexible and transparent options than the traditional advertising route. So in early 2011 they joined up with a local investor and started AdMarula. Our aim is to be a truly transparent performance marketing partner for online businesses and publishers, and increase understanding and awareness of performance marketing in South Africa.

Promote the advertiser’s offer on a pay-for-performance basis on their blog, website, Facebook page or to their email database.

Sarah clicks on the offer, is taken to the Advertiser’s website, and makes a purchase. AdMarula tracks the whole process to ensure the commission is attributed and paid to the relevant publisher.

Sarah searches the web and lands on a Publisher’s website/blog/FB page promoting the Advertiser’s offer.
