Transport Strategic Development Programme 2.

– Priority 2: Competitive public transport system• Improvement of major railway lines• Integrated regional public transport system

– Principle: regulated competition – Regional transport authority commissioning services– Association of transport service commissioners

– Association of transport service providers» Change of legal framework (concession up to 2012)» Assessment of passenger flow» Harmonising tariff of different transport means» Competition for service packages combining profit- and

loss making relations

– Priority 3: Improvement of related infrastructure (hubs, bus lanes, Intelligent Transport Systems, trams in Pécs

– Priority 4: Minimising environmental harm of transport activities

• Improving conditions for bikers in cities and in their vicinity

• Improved conditions for pedestrians

• Decrease transit traffic volume by building by-passes
