What type of cover is best?

savings and convenience of annual travel insurance. If you travel more than a couple of

What is an excess?

Annual multi-trip policies tend to limit the number of days you can spend abroad during any

one trip. Some also limit the maximum total number of days you can spend abroad, so it's

worth checking before you buy. Under our standard insurance, the limit is up to 31

consecutive days. If you need longer, we have specialist providers who can quote for such

circumstances.

Do annual policies cover travel within the UK?

Yes, most annual policies offer cover within the UK providing your trip is for one or more

nights in pre-booked accommodation.

Why can’t I buy a family policy if my child is over 17?

This is a stipulation that our travel insurance providers use. If you need a policy to cover

your child who is 18 or older then you can either enter the total number of travellers under

the adults, or buy a couple’s policy and purchase a separate policy for your children.

Do annual policies cover ski and snowboarding trips?

Some annual travel insurance policies include ski and snowboard cover, but you are usually

limited to a maximum number of days each year.

Can I ski and snowboard off-piste?

Usually yes, so long as you are accompanied by a qualified guide or instructor.
