Travelling to King’s bySchool Bus or local bus

King’s College School Coach Service:The school has 11 coach routes to transport pupils to school in the morning. They are scheduled to arrive at school at 08:10. Homeward journeys begin at 16:20 with approximate return times in the last column.

The current list of routes for 2019-20 is below; however, these routes are adjusted annually in early July to take account of those actually intending to travel, and there is no absolute guarantee that a given stop will be available from one year to the next. It should also be noted that this is NOT a door-to-door service; stops are arranged to be convenient to a group of pupils living in the same vicinity. Where possible, pick-up points are located at TfL bus stops. This does mean that coaches are not able to wait but will not depart before the scheduled time stated.

All coaches are fitted with GPS tracking. This can be used Monday to Friday 06.30 to 09.00 and 15.30 to 18.00. The url for the GPS

Homeward routes may vary slightly to take account of numbers travelling and one-way systems.

Local Buses: The 200 bus brings pupils from Raynes Park and Wimbledon stations and stops on the Ridgway, adjacent to the school. For the return journey it also takes pupils from the Ridgway stops back to Raynes Park or down to Wimbledon station.

The 93 bus stops in Wimbledon village a short walk from the school. It brings pupils from the Putney area in one direction and also from Wimbledon station in the other.

By Train: South Western Railways runs a very frequent train service to Wimbledon (for pupils coming from central London and Surrey) and Raynes Park (for pupils coming from the SW of London and other Surrey towns). From here the school is a short walk up the hill or a very short bus ride (200 or 93).

By Tube:The district line Wimbledon branch is an excellent option for pupils who live in Chelsea, Fulham, or areas served by other district line branches. It provides a practical alternative to the school coach in the evenings if pupils are involved in after school extra-curricular activities.
