The Implications n 1) This is one of only three legitimate ways to respond to
Jesus Christ and His claims. n 2) As Jesus’ followers, we too will often be thought of as nuts,
delusional, part of the lunatic fringe. n 3) If you are serious about the Bible, your unbelieving family
and friends may conclude as Jesus’ family did that you are taking your faith too far.
n 4) This tragic episode also teaches us the power of God, confirms Jesus’ claims, and reinforces the reality of His resurrection.
