INTRODUCTION

Amsterdam is the capital and largest city of

the Netherlands, located in the province 

of North Holland in the west of the country. The

northern part of the Randstad, the sixth-

largest metropolitan area in Europe, with a

population of around 6.7 million.

The city is the financial and cultural capital of the

Netherlands. Many large Dutch institutions have

their headquarters there, and 7 of the world's top

500 companies, including Philips and ING, are

based in the city. In 2010, Amsterdam was ranked

13th globally on quality of living by Mercer, and

previously ranked 3rd in innovation by 2thinknow

in the Innovation Cities Index 2009.

Novotel Amsredam Airport provides airport pick transport facility to its customers, Just you need to give details of your flight timings while registration.

After reaching there I did nothing just relaxed in the room and went to the pub in same Hotel.

DAY 2 (26-11-10)

City Tour

2.5-hr Amsterdam city tour with Royal Palace, National Monument, Skinny Bridge, canals, Albert Cuyp Market, stop at diamond factory. Includes 1-hr cruise along Amsterdam's famous canals.

From INR 10,000.

After this tour hired a Bicycle at INR 2000 for One Day and went to Old City Church and Red Light District.

After returning from bike tour went to Kop van Jut restaurant in a TCA taxi worth INR 2000 and enjoyed a happy meal.

DAY 3 (27-11-10)

Booked a ticket for joy ride tour worth INR 1200 and enjoyed a city tour.

Then booked a TCA taxi worth INR 8000 and visited The Resistance Museum and Van Ghough Museum.

During night went to Red Light District( It is somewhat of a sexual amusement park and often not taken too seriously by the hordes of tourist who frequent it. The famous red window lights are striking against the quaint, old canal houses and even the fairy lights that line the bridges at night are coloured red) and had a wonderful time, enjoyed a delicious non.veg meal with alcohol. Also experienced the night life in Red Light District while walking on the streets.

DAY 4 (28-11-10) Booked a TCA taxi worth INR 8000 and went to Albert Cyup Market ( It is

arguably the best-known and busiest outdoor market in Europe. It attracts thousands of visitors every day, and is especially popular on Saturdays. There are over 300 stalls and goods range from fresh produce, to clothes, to odds and ends, with prices among the cheapest in Amsterdam. The market is located in the Pijp district, surrounded by many pleasant cafes and small shops) did some shopping and enjoyed a delicious cheese.

Then went to Magere Brug (The famous skinny bridge across the river Amstel and opposite of the Carré theatre, is an Old Dutch design wooden bridge known as a double-swipe (balanced) bridge). in the same taxi and had a lovely sight seeing and happy time in a boat.

Then came back to hotel, had dinner , packed my luggage and went to the Schipol Airport in a taxi provided by Hotel and took a flight for India.
