FMS uses DGPS to identify each loaderand it’s position, without the need forinfra-red links or radio beacons. Delaycodes can be activated automatically,based on position and/or time - a handyfeature if the operator forgets to enterthe reason for a delay. For trucks fittedwith weighing systems, FMS can evenautomatically detect queuingand loading.

A full suite of Windows NT*-basedreporting and analysis software isprovided as an integral part of theFMS system. It’s intuitive, and easyto use. In fact, with minimalspecialist training, anyone whocan use Windows* can use theFMS application software.All reporting software is multi-userand multi-tasking, designed forNetwork use.

One of the most importantfunctions of a monitoring systemis to provide data to the peoplewho need it. Therefore softwareintegration is vital - a point thatTritronics is well aware of. That’swhy FMS is seamlessly integratedwith Mincom’s Minescape andMIMS systems. In addition, FMSis also integrated with RungeMining’s Talpac*.

As an option, Tritronics canprovide interfaces to vehiclemonitoring systems, providingreal-time data and alarms formaintenance departments andsupervisors. Interfaces andsoftware are available for VIMS*,TPMS*, DDEC*, CENSE*, StatexIII* and Dresser*. The list ofsystems grows as new OEMmonitoring systems hit the market.

So now for the first time, you caneasily compare actual haul roadperformance against plannedperformance, bridging the gapbetween truck simulation and thereal world.

An alarm generated by anengine/transmission monitoringsystem is relayed to the workshopin seconds, and operators canreport faults directly to themaintenance staff, even trackingthe progress of the fault at thetouch of a screen.
