• 48-year old female presents with a palpable breast mass.
• She has a strong family history of breast cancer.
• Physical examination reveals a 2.5 cm mass, not fixed to overlying skin or underlying chest wall.

• 68-year old woman with history of myocardial infarct was found to have punctate calcifications associated with 1 cm left breast density on annual screening mammogram.
• Stereotactic CNB revealed invasive ductal carcinoma grade 2, ER+, PR+, Her2 -.

• Segmental resection and SLN biopsy was performed.
• 1.1 cm IDC, grade 2, no LVI
• Margins free (closest margin 0.5 cm)
