Your Ultimate WeddingCongratulations on your engagement. Your wedding day is so special so let our dedicated Events Team make planning your day easy. Tweed Ultima is perfectly positioned close to golden beaches at Tweed Heads and Coolangatta with various churches and stunning outdoor venues in close proximity for your ceremony.

We offer a choice of two reception rooms, the Grand and the Ultima rooms, for intimate weddings of 40 to larger celebrations for 200. Our menus are stylish with great flavour combinations. To ensure premium quality, only the freshest ingredients are used.

Our meals are designed to tantalise the taste buds & can be modified to suit special needs & dietary requirements. We pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating to all wedding styles and budgets. We can tailor a cocktail party, buffet or set menu with theming to suit your taste.

After your reception, stay in one of our apartments or penthouses. Your guests can also take advantage of a weekend away in paradise.

Ceremony

Our ideal location gives you the perfect photographic opportunities. Choose from the beautiful hinterland of the Tweed Valley, the Tweed River, Jack Evans Boat Harbour or our golden beaches. We can assist you in finding the perfect setting to say your vows.

Theming & Entertainment

Our dedicated Events Team along with our reputable and professional external suppliers, can assist with innovative ideas on theming and entertainment to create that ambience and distinctive flair for your special day. We are able to arrange dance floors, stages, DJ’s, chair covers & sashes, table centerpieces, wishing wells, lighting and much more.

ChildrenHere at Tweed Ultima we are child friendly. We realize that many couples getting married already have children or their guests do and would like to include them into their special day. As a part of your package we offer children’s menus with gift bags of crayons and a toy. We can also arrange babysitting. Please enquire further for menu options.

Accommodation Choose from any of our one, two or three bedroom luxury apartments, with great views of the coast, waterways or Tweed Valley. Ask about our special offers for wedding parties.

A one bedroom apartment may be available free of charge for the bridal couple for their wedding night. Subject to final guest numbers.

Wedding Beverage PackagesOur beverage packages are designed to provide you with a set price per person over a 2-4 hour period.

Contact our Events Team to design a package for you. Alternatively, you can set a bar limit and we can charge the beverages you choose on consumption.

We would like to advise you that all staff at the Tweed Ultima Function Centre practice the responsible service of alcohol. Therefore, we appreciate your support throughout your event

Terms and conditionsDepositFor confirmation of your reception we require a $500 non-refundable deposit within 7 days of making a tentative booking. The Ultima Function Centre reserves the right to cancel any reservations not held with a deposit by the required date.

Payment terms8 weeks prior to your reception date 50% of the estimated balance is due with final payment due 7 days prior with final catering numbers. Payment can be made by cash/cheque/direct deposit – credit card incurs 3% fee, Amex 5%.

Guest Numbers and CateringAll prices are based on minimum numbers advised.Final numbers are required 7 days prior to an event and numbers will be charged accordingly. Charges will be based on the number of people that attend the function or the final given number, whichever is the greater.

There is a 15% surcharge for Sundays and public holidays or to be negotiated with management.Finalised menu and beverage details are required 14 days prior to the event with any special dietary requirements.

Children 12 and under are charged at half the adult price menu. A children’s menu is available on request.We are unable to permit clients to provide their own food and beverage and any food not consumed remains the property of the ultima function centre. (Exception of wedding cake)

All prices quoted are inclusive of GST. Prices quoted are current but may change on seasonal availability and may be subject to alteration prior to your event.


CancellationIf you cancel your function booking:1. The sum of $500.00 is non-refundable.2. Between 30 days and 60 days before your function you must pay 25% of the estimated function

charge.3. Between 14 days and 30 days before your function you must pay 50% of the estimated function

charge.4. Within 14 days of your function, full payment for the estimated function charge is required.5. Any cancellations; changes or additions must be received in writing

Responsible service of alcoholThe Ultima Function Centre is licensed to provide alcohol until 12 midnight, with last drinks offered at 11.30pm. No alcohol beverages will be served to guests after this time.Guests attending a private function must comply with liquor licensing regulations. The Ultima Function Centre promotes Responsible Service of Alcohol and abides by the rules outlined in the Liquor Act.Under 18’s are not permitted to drink alcohol at an event even with parents present.

Damages and insuranceThe customer is financially responsible for any damages sustained to Tweed Ultima and the Ultima Function Centre throughout the duration of the event and any damages will be billed to the hirer within seven days of the event.

Whilst every care is taken to protect guests property Tweed Ultima will accept no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred prior to, during and on the conclusion of the event.Guests attending must conduct themselves in an orderly manner. Tweed Ultima reserves the right to remove any persons whose behaviour is deemed objectionable, improper or undesirable.Please nominate a responsible adult in your party to act as a liaison for any issues that may arise during your function.
