HybridOrganicAcidTechnology(HOAT)wasbornfromtheneedformoresupplementstotargetproblemcorrosionareas.HOATformulationsmaycontaininorganicadditivessuchasnitritesandsilicates.Ultimately,theengineOEMwillspecifytheadditivemixthatisbestfortheirequipment.
Corrosioninhibitorperformanceandstabilitymaybeaffectedifcoolantsaremixed.CertainhybridcoolantsarefullycompatiblewithOATandConventionalcoolants.Donotmixcoolantsofunknownchemistry.Somecoolantscannotbemixed.
