Giving children regular opportunities to improve their typing skills similar to handwriting is the best way to support children to develop their knowledge and understanding and subsequently improve their typing skills. BBC Dance Mat TypingFree to use, available on the web, Dance Mat Typing is a child-friendly program that slowly introduces kids to the skill of typing. It is a 12 stage sequence, with three stages in each level.
