2020 CASCADE NATURAL GAS REBATE PROGRAM WINDOWS/GLAZING REQUIREMENTS

EXISTING HOMES ONLY

• ENERGY STAR windows with U-factor of 0.27 or lower• Window must carry certification and label from National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)

• You must have existing single-pane, wood- or metal-framed windows or patio/sliding glass doors to qualify

• The high-efficiency windows or patio/sliding glass doors must be installed to replace the existing single-pane, wood- or

metal-framed windows or patio/sliding glass doors

• Rebate amount is determined by the square footage of the glazing installed, $5.00 per square foot

• The CNG Window Rebate does not apply to homes with existing double-pane windows

• No New Construction, No Existing Home Additions, No Unheated Areas

ENERGY STAR© NORTHERN ZONE WINDOWS: U-factor of 0.27 or lower

CNG WINDOW REBATE REQUIREMENTS

U-FACTOR 0.27 or lowero NFRC stickers or a copy of your packing slip

HOME HEATING REQUIREMENTS

• You must use natural gas provided by CNG as the primary source of your home space heat

• Windows must be installed within the conditioned living areas of the home at the time of submission

• Window rebates are available only for new, qualifying products

CONTRACTOR INVOICE REQUIREMENTS:

• State the Pre-existing condition of all windows replaced

• Dimension and type (horizontal slider, single hung, fixed, etc.) of each window or patio door being upgraded

• How many single-pane windows and/or sliding glass doors were upgraded and installed in the conditioned living space?
