ALL SANITARY LATERAL SERVICE CONNECTIONS INDICATED TO BE RELOCATED OR REPLACED, SHALL BE REPLACED TO

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE CONSTRUCTION ADJACENT TO ALL STREETS LIGHTS AND POLES WITH DOMINION

THE SCHEDULED WORK.

WEEKS NOTICE MUST BE PROVIDED TO CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
FOR MAST ARM INSTALLATIONS OVER ROADWAYS OPEN TO TRAFFIC, A MINIMUM OF TWO
ALL PEDESTAL POLES WILL BE 10 FEET IN HEIGHT.
DISCRETION AND DIRECTION OF THE ENGINEER.
PREFORMED PLASTIC TAPE ARE CONTINGENCY ITEMS AND WILL BE UTILIZED AT THE
TEST PITS, SILT FENCE, STRAW BALE SEDIMENT BARRIER AND TEMPORARY REMOVABLE
TRAFFIC SIGNAL NOTES
ARMS SHALL TAKE PLACE ON A SUNDAY MORNING.
ALL WORK TO CHANGE OVER FROM THE EXISTING SIGNAL TO THE PROPOSED MAST
SHALL INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE STREET CROSSING.
ON THE SIDEWALK AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CROSSWALK. THE MESSAGE ON THESE SIGNS
THE CROSSWALK TO WHICH IT APPLIES, SO AS TO BE VISIBLE TO A PEDESTRIAN STANDING
PUSHBUTTON. ON EACH CORNER, THE PUSHBUTTON AND SIGN SHALL BE ORIENTED TO FACE
SHALL HAVE THE ENGINEER FIELD VERIFY THE LOCATION AND ORIENTATION FOR EACH
PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE PEDESTRIAN PUSHBUTTONS ON THE POLE, THE CONTRACTOR
COUNTDOWN LED HAND/MAN SYMBOL PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD ASSEMBLY.
PEDESTRIAN SIGNALS WILL CONFORM TO THE DPW SUPPLEMENTAL SPECIFICATION FOR
ADVANCE OF THE FINAL SIGNAL TIMING REQUIREMENT.
CONTRACTOR WILL NOTIFY TRAFFIC ENGINEERING IN WRITING, 10 WORKING DAYS IN
WHEN THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION IS READY TO BE PLACED INTO SERVICE. THE
