Career and Skills ConsultantsWe regularly run seminars on developing effective CVs and applications, as well as workshops on interview techniques. You can book a place via CareersConnect (access via our website www.ucd.ie/careers or via the UCD Connect page). These workshops will often be your starting point for making career decisions and applying for vacancies. We offer two types of free one-to-one Quick Query appointments with our team of Career and Skills Consultants:

• CV & Application Quick Query sessions: to review your CV, cover letter or application form, career advice and interview prep.

• All Queries: All questions relating to CVs, applications, career development, further study, interview preparation.

Slots are approximately 20 minutes in length and can be booked on the day through Careers Connect. Log on to Careers Connect to book an appointment!

Recruitment Fairs & Employer PresentationsOften the first contact a student makes with an employer at a fair or presentation leads to important connections and career opportunities. You can find an up to date schedule of recruitment fairs and employer events taking place on campus using our website www.ucd.ie/careers. We also publicise events via social media, so keep an eye out!

Online ResourcesThe UCD Careers Network provides access to a range of online resources free of charge to University College Dublin students and alumni. To use these tests, you’ll need three codes: client code, access code and password. Please login to your Careers Connect account to access this facility and the codes required under the ‘Online Resources’ section.
