Registration and registration packet pickup will be conducted at 800 S 800 E, Orem, in the north building Relief Society room during the following days and times: Thursday, June 23 3-9:30 pm Friday, June 24 8:00 am—7:15 pm Saturday, June 25 8:30 am—noon Dance Registration Only - may be done at the door (Friday & Saturday) Standards LDS standards of dress and conduct are required at all activi-ties. Dancers should avoid full-body contact and suggestive moves or positions. Clothing must be modest in fabric, fit, and style. No sleeveless, open-back, or low neckline blouses or dresses will be permitted. Divorces must be final before attending the conference. Mar-ried couples should not attend unless they are hosting or are invited presenters.

Conference Information

Registration

In person registration will be accepted during the conference EX-CEPT for meals, which MUST be purchased in advance. Registra-tion and registration packet pickup will be conducted at 800 S 800 E, Orem, in the N building Relief Society Room during the following days and times: Thursday, June 23 3-9:30 pm Friday, June 24 8:00 am—7:15 pm Saturday, June 25 8:30 am—noon Dance Registration Only - may be done at the door (Friday & Saturday)

Conference Entrance

Your name badge, included in your registration packet, is your ticket to all events except church services. Replacement name badges cost $10.00. Name badges, wrist bands, or a hand stamp are required for all meals and dances.

Meals

The schedule of entertainment, speakers, and dances require prompt starting and ending of meals. Please be on-time. Meals are available only through pre-registration.

Conference Choir

Friday, June 24 from 12—6 pm, N Church building, 800 S 800 E, Orem. Please be sure to drink plenty of water and a good meal prior to donating.

Parking

Free parking is available at the church parking lots at

800 S 800 E, Orem throughout the conference.

UVU Parking—There are free and paid parking lots. After 5:00 pm and on Sunday you can park in regular yellow/purple student and green employee stalls. Parking and speed laws are strictly enforced.

UVU Students—Park only in marked stalled

Tuesday, June 21

All day Attend a temple of your choice

6 pm Meet in the Provo Temple, Room 1 for a brief devotion- al followed by the 6:40 endowment session or a sealing session. Please be fully prepared prior to joining us in Room 1.

Those wishing to perform baptisms: Go to the recom- mend desk in the basement and tell them you’re with the UCSA. You will be escorted to Room 1 for the devotional session then back to the baptistery.

8:30- Mingle at 800 S 800 E, Orem, UT, N building, cultural 10:30 hall.

Wednesday, June 22

Note: In case of rain the event will be held in the cultural hall of the building located at 450 S 100 W in Orem.

6 - Family Picnic in the Park at Scera Park and Pool in Orem, 9:30 701 South State Street. Bring a side dish or dessert to share, main dish will be provided for the first 350 people.

7:30- Swimming: Free wristbands for the swimming pool will 9:30 be provided. Children are welcome to attend.

President Tad R. Callister, was serving in the Presi-

dency of the Seventy and as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy when he was called as Sunday School general president. He has served in a number of Church callings including full-time missionary in the Eastern Atlantic States Mission, bishop, stake presi-dent, regional representative, mission president, and Area Seventy. President Callister received a bachelor of science de-gree in accounting from Brigham Young University, a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Califor-

nia–Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in tax law from New York University Law School. He spent most of his professional career practicing tax law. He is a well known author and speaker. He and his wife Kathryn Louise Saporiti are the parents of six children.

Ramy Louis, The son of a Pentecostal Minister, began his private search for a faith that would be both power-ful and personally meaningful at the age of 10. A former Record Producer in the Los Angeles area and High School Counselor serving 200 young men and women who needed a partner/advocate, someone they knew loved them unconditionally, Ramy is a Life Coach, Communica-tions and Public Relations Expert, and Motivational Speaker. Ramy will take you on a journey of faith and possibility that will inspire you!

Wid Tolman— Brother Tolman was born in Burbank, California 87 years ago. This area being the focal point of aircraft development on planet earth, Brother Tol-man quickly developed a passionate love for aircraft and flying. He soloed and became a pilot while he was still very young. He especially loved soaring like an ea-gle in his sailplane. He also loves camping, hiking, and fishing. Brother Tolman is a retired professor of BYU where he taught for 34 years. He taught in the department of

Mechanical Engineering within the college of Engineering and Technology with an emphasis in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing.

Lori Schade—chose a profession of marriage and

family therapy because of the large family she grew up in and her belief in the strength of family systems. Lori primarily works with couples, be-cause she considers the marital unit to be the most powerful source for change in the family. She earned a bachelors degree in Family Science in 1989 and a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1992. She finished her Ph.D. in Mar-riage and Family Therapy in 2013.

Before Lori entered the working world, she was a stay-at-home mom with 7 children. Her academic, clinical and home life experience has formed the basis of her therapeutic interventions. She simply loves what she does!

Dr. Adam Moore— is a licensed marriage and family therapist and has provided counseling ser-vices to individuals, couples, and families for over a decade. Dr. Moore currently serves as Assistant Director of BYU's Comprehensive Clinic, Clinical Director of Utah Valley Counseling, and President-Elect of the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Moore is also an educator and public speaker. He has taught undergraduate and

graduate courses at Brigham Young University, Argosy University, and Utah Valley University. He has presented to many thousands of people on topics including relationship enhancement, addiction recovery, parenting, and the science of motivation.

Wendy Ulrich—PhD, is a psychologist, former president of the Association of Mormon Counse-lors and Psychotherapists, and has been a visiting professor at Brigham Young University. She has authored numerous articles and six books, includ-ing Weaknesses Not Sin, the Temple Experience, and Let God Love You, and she speaks regularly for Deseret Book’s Time Out for Women. She is the founder of Sixteen Stones Center for Growth, offering seminar-retreats for LDS women and their

loved ones (sixteenstones.net). She served with her husband, Dave Ulrich, presiding over the Canada Montreal Mission.

Jeff Thompson—is Director of the Romney Institute of Public Management at Brigham Young University, where he teaches organizational behavior courses in the MPA program and business ethics courses in the MBA program. Dr. Thompson’s research, published in top manage-ment journals, focuses on meaningful work and the pursuit of a professional “calling.” His study on call-ings in the zoo-keeping profession was named best study of the year in the field of organizational behav-

ior by three different academic associations. He also publishes research on organizational ethics. He is a frequent speaker on these topics. Jeff leads his MBA students on an annual field study trip to Ghana. In his spare time, he enjoys racquetball, the theatre, and his family.

Mark M.— has been involved as a participant, missionary, and program coordinator with the LDS Addiction Recovery Program since its inception in 1992. He shares a message of hope and healing for all of us who are striving to shake off the bonds of being fallen mortals. He is passionate about how we can open the door to more fully receive the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and find joy in our journey of living the Gospel!

Michele L.— has been an active member of the Church all of her life. She served a mission, re-ceived two degrees from BYU, served in the tem-ple as a young single adult, and married in the temple. She has a firm testimony of the Church, but it wasn’t until 12 steps graced her life that she really started to understand the healing power of the Savior’s Atonement and God’s amazing love. As such, she affectionately calls her 12-step meetings “Atonement Class”. She is grateful to

share how the 12 steps help her with fear/anxiety, shame, perfection-ism, and more.

Nic J.— was born in Idaho, studied at Ricks Col-lege, served a mission in Brazil, studied at BYU-Idaho, moved to Utah, works in web design and development, married the greatest and most beautiful woman in the world, and has 5 darling children. He actively promotes the LDS recovery program as a speaker and presenter.

Nannette W.—and her husband Marvin live in Orem, Utah. Nannette’s introduction to the concept of re-covery was more that 25 years ago over a life long compulsive/addictive struggle with eating. With the help that comes through the Savior, Jesus Christ she has been living in recovery from addiction for seven years. She firmly believes that the gospel principles found in the Twelve Steps of Recovery can bless any-one who has come to the end of themselves with any of life's problems.

Jeff D. –completed requirements for his Substance

Use Disorder Counseling (SUCD) certificate this

year. He also finished an internship working with

clients at a methadone clinic in Orem. Jeff’s drug

and alcohol issues were severely debilitating but

he was remarkably blessed with “a mighty change

of heart”. He now enjoys attending the temple

often and uses his priesthood to serve others. Jeff

strives to share the joy he has found in recovery as a facilitator in the LDS

Addiction Recovery Program and by striving to be a servant of Jesus Christ.

John Canaan—is a one of a kind performer and personal relationship trainer. From the time he recorded, "What if I Loved You?" (a No.1 Pop song in Utah), to his recording of Michael McLean's, "You're Not Alone," John’s voice has become a familiar and favorite voice to millions. John is the creator and lead facilitator of "Sending the Right Message" Relationship training seminars and workshops- a faith based relationship training organization. John re-sides in Suncrest (Draper) Utah with his amazing wife, Narelle. They are the parents of a blended family of 10 children.

Vicki Talmage—Vicki Talmage has been a practition-er for practical healthy lifestyle, an author/lecturer and presenter and personal "walker of the talk" throughout her lifetime and professionally for nearly 40 years. Her successful business and clinic, Vitae Health, has helped thousands of people in their jour-ney towards practical health through full body cleansing and overcoming unhealthy habits, trans-forming minds into patterns of “duplicatable” and repeatable actions of healthy, joyful living.

She has learned and continually practices the art of living in joy, bliss and peace regardless of the situations that life and people may bring.

Jennifer Brinkerhoff Platt—Platt earned a PhD from Arizona State University in lifespan developmental psychology, focusing on women, identity formation and social issues. Her passion to learn and live the gospel of Jesus Christ from the ground up has taken her around the world, from the rural villages of Ethio-pia to the floors of primary classrooms. Her happy place is in the temple. With fifty years worth of collec-tive dating experience, she and her husband Jed met and married at the age of 41.

Kam Wixom—was a 12 year old student in the 1986 Cokeville Miracle hostage crisis. He provided insights in his parent’s book “Cokeville Miracle” and was a his-torical advisor (and EMT) on T.C. Christensen’s feature film “Cokeville Miracle”.

“Cactus Jack”- is a survivor of divorce, who then made it his mission to change lives through story and song. After his life crisis in 2010, Paul “Cactus Jack” Lamar sold everything he owned in Australia and moved to the United States to become a composer. He had no musical training or industry contacts, but he chose Utah as his home base. He recorded and released his first CD “That First Night (A Christmas Collection)” that went to #1 in three weeks. He has since composed, produced and starred in a major musical based on his life called A Time of Forgiving.” His high energy and

unique life experiences make him a highly sought-after performer and musi-cian.

Elder Blake M. Roney—Provo, Utah; chairman, One Enter-prises (private equity); former bishop, high councilor, mis-sion president, Provo Temple open house and dedication committee member, and stake president; wife: Nancy Roney, eight children.

President Scott and Ginger Livingston—Scott & Ginger got engaged on a trampo-line and life has been a lot of ups with some necessary downs, ever since. Scott currently serves as a stake president and Ginger is the Young Women’s Secretary in their ward. They’ve been blessed to serve in many capacities, including Stake and Ward Primary President, seminary teacher, bishop, high councilor and best of all, nursery leaders.

In his spare time, Scott is a published author. His most recent book is Beauty for Ashes. Ginger is a photographer. They are the parents of 4 children.

Bruce C. and Marie K. Hafen—Bruce Hafen grew up in St. George, Utah. After serving a mission to Germany, he met Marie Kartchner from Bountiful, Utah at BYU. They were married in 1964.

Bruce became an Emeritus General Au-thority in 2010 then served as president of the St. George Temple. He is the au-thor of several books on gospel topics.

Marie K. Hafen is a homemaker and teacher. She has a Master’s Degree in English from BYU and has taught Shakespeare, freshman writing, and Book of Mormon at BYU-Idaho, the University of Utah, and BYU. She was also on the Young Women General Board.
