REGISTRATION FEE :
The Abstracts are invited for presentations. Participants
are requested to send their abstracts of original and
unpublished research work related to the themes of the
conference. Participants can submit their abstracts
restricted to 250 words, MS WORD format, Title-Bold,
Affiliation, Mail Id and contact numbers of Author and
co-authors only by email [email protected]. on or
before 25th February 2017.
Full Length Paper format is obtained from our
conference website. Only selected paper authors will
have to send full length papers.

PROFILE OF THE COLLEGE
DEPARTMENT OF ZOOLOGY
St. Ann's College for women was established in the year
1983 with an objective of Academic Excellence, Skill
Enhancement and Value Enrichment of a girl student
towards empowerment. Ever since its inception, an
excellent academic community.
In appreciation of the high level of academic excellence,
which our institution has achieved, the infrastructure
facilities it has created and the potential of growth it has,
NAAC has given the “A” Grade to our college in the year
2006 and Reaccredited with 'A' Grade in 2013 and the
UGC has conferred the status of “College with Potential
for Excellence” in the year 2010 & 2014. The college has
been granted autonomous status in the year 2015.
The Department of Zoology was established in the year
1983. The department offers an undergraduate course in
Zoology in combination with Botany, Chemistry,
Microbiology, Nutrition and Genetics. As on date the
department has strength of over 450 students. Alumni are
well placed in their academic and research pursuits both
at National & International Levels.

THEME AND OBJECTIVE OF THE
CONFERENCE:
OBJECTIVES:
Dept.. of Genetics was established in the year 1988’ under
the Restructured Courses Program(RC) of Osmania
University. The programs offered are B.Sc with GCM
(Genetics, Chemistry, Microbiology) and GCZ
(Genetics, Chemistry, Zoology) combinations.
Alumni are well placed in Universities, R&D
Organizations in India and abroad. Department
encourages student research and publication of findings
in International Journals. The department has tie up with
GMERC - Global Hospitals to promote Internship, joint
research activity and Career Oriented Courses.
MOTTO -“DECODING THE BLUE PRINT OF LIFE.
Since India has emerged as a strong nation in the area of
Research, the present conference will be organized to
create a platform for sharing ongoing Research in
emerging trends in Life Sciences. This National
conference is the premier forum for the presentation of
new advances and Research results in the field of Botany,
Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotechnology,
Nutrition and Biochemistry. The conference will gather
leading scientists, researchers, scholars and faculty from
around the country.
This conference aims to meet the following objectives
v Create awareness on recent trends in Research in Life Sciences.v Discuss technical advances in the analysis and application of biological material in day-to-day life.v Thrust on dessiminating and using research information in biology and allied areas viz. Medicine, Agriculture, Environment and Industry.v Open a platform for panel discussion to focus on research problems in new areas of life sciences.
