DescriptionHI-THERM calcium silicate block and pipe high temperatureinsulation is manufactured using an industry preferred filterpress method which provides accurate dimensional toler-ances and superior compressive and flexural strength.These attributes facilitate installation and provide exception-

al resistance to mechanical abuse. HI-THERM calcium sili-cate insulation is asbestos free and meets or exceeds all ofthe requirements of ASTM C 533, Type I.

ApplicationsHI-THERM calcium silicate insulation is recommended foruse on equipment and piping operating at temperaturesfrom ambient to 250 Deg F (121 Deg C) indoors and pro-tected outdoors up to 1200 Deg F (649 Deg C). it is ideallysuited for industrial use in areas such as the petrochemicaland power generating industries where energy conservation,process control, personal protection and fire protection areprerequisites.
