Ethernet version synchronised by NTP or PoE (Power over Ethernet): Uses a NTP server as time reference. Connect the mains supply for the NTP version. Make sure to use either a PoE switch or a Mid Span injector for the PoE version. The Ethernet interface user guide and the configuration tool are available on the CDROM supplied with the clock.

DHW 869.525MHz Radio input The clock is automatically synchronized according to the configuration of the transmitter.

Radiosynchronised on DCF Frequency: 77.5 KHz Place the antenna in a way that antennas LED is flashing every second and nothing at 59th seconds.

Radiosynchronised on TDF Frequency: 162 KHz Install the antenna on a horizontal basis. After a minute, the antennas LED should start flashing every second and nothing at 59th seconds.

Note: The maximum cables length using a shielded bi-wired cable is 100 meters. The maximum distance relative to the DCF transmitter (Frankfurt - Germany) or TDF (Allouis CHER) = 2,000 Kms. (Value may decrease depending on the surrounding terrain and weather conditions)


3 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Wall Clock Fix the wall according to the previous paragraph. Flush Mount Clock Wall preparation: Prepare a opening which shall match the dimension for your clock(according to the previous paragraph). Fit in place the bracket with M3 screws (not supplied). Place your clock in the slot. This will be held in place automatically by magnetization. Wires output at the back of the case via the connector plug. 3.1 LEDIfi MODEL : CURRENT SECTOR /TIME CODE/DISPLAY Connect the mains power on the 2 wires + ground (Blue,Brown and Yellow/Green) After connection, set the clock on operation mode by switching ON (lower position).

3.1.1 Impulse receiver vers ion, AFNOR NFS 87-500 code version, radio-synchronised version on TDF or DCF Connect the impulse, AFNOR NFS 87500 code, TDF antenna or DCF antenna to the identified code input on terminal B1. If the 2 points CODE are not connected, the clock switches to stand alone version.(except for impulse receiver version) 3.1.2 Version ASCII RS232 or RS485 Connection on the terminal B1 The clock works as stand-alone but is set with respect to the ASCII code that it receives (configuration 2400 bauds, 8-bit format, even parity, 1stop bit). This ASCII code must be Time information in the form:

Connect the mains power on the 2 wires. The connections have to be made on this cable: the casing is sealed and cannot be opened. To access to the push buttons and the switch, unscrew and slip down the pit, which is located on the underside of the case. Switch on and reset the clock. 3.2.1 Impulse Receiv ing Version, AFNOR NFS 87500 code, rad io synchronized w ith TDF or DCF Connect the impulse, AFNOR NFS 87500 code, TDF antenna or DCF antenna on B1 connector (2 CODE points) 3.2.2 Version ASCII RS232 or RS422 Wiring code for ASCII 232 or 485 versions on RxD, TxD, GND


3.3 TEMPERATURE PROBE (OPTION) Connect the temperature probe on the 2 identified connector: Probe T C on terminal B1. The temperature probe is supplied with a 4meter cable. This cable may be eventually prolonged (25 meters length maxi) Accuracy +/- 0.4 C. If the measured temperature is indoor, the probe must be place between 1.50 and 2 m above ground and not close to any warm sources. If outdoor, the temperature probe must be placed under shelter, in a ventilated area, to avoid any direct sunlight or greenhouse effect. 4 BRIGHTNESS SETTING This setting is achieved manually by pressing the button + and outside any configuration mode. 5 SYNCHRONISATION To set the new minute, configure Hours/Minute, by pressing Prog and + or -, if any change are made on the minute unit, pressing PROG will start the newly settled minute. REMARKS - All phases of time setting are limited by duration of 80 seconds.


6 CONFIGURATION Setting the time is via 3 buttons +, - and PROG are accessible on the back panel. Keeping buttons +/- pressed will change value even faster. The setting time between the menus is 80 seconds
