Ulaly Bournon Bell 2008 (Silverlea Simply Red by Silverlea Flash Harry / Mistrale Du Garon by Fijal Soloist) Ulaly was born in Auvergne, not far from Clermont-Ferrand. Our aim was to introduce the Silverlea lineage into our herd and to breed show jumping ponies. Simply Red was the fabulous jumper that we were looking for and he made this black girl with Mistrale du Garon. She was the kind of filly which never stops, galloping from one end of the field to the other, jumping the stream down the hill rather than having her feet wet. She would never let you catch her at the first try, but she would always have a little run for a few minutes before putting her nose in the halter. Ulaly is a great pony: a very pretty mare with an outstanding dappled dark bay coat. She has plenty of energy, her jumping style is close to perfection. When she enters the ring she will look for one thing: the first obstacle. Ulaly was ridden by Pauline Dalmeda and when competition was becoming even more difficult Nelly Robert took over…Nelly is a professional rider. She participated in both of the “Cycles Classiques” finals for 5 and 6 year olds. The finals take place during the Sologn’ Pony show at the end of August in Lamotte Beuvron near Orléans. Ulaly is a great pony: a very pretty mare with an outstanding dappled dark bay coat. She has plenty of energy, her jumping style is close to perfection. When she enters the ring she will look for one thing: the first obstacle.

Ulaly was ridden by Pauline Dalmeda and when competition was becoming even more difficult Nelly Roberttook over…Nelly is a professional rider.

over France can take part in their class for either 4, 5 or 6 year olds. It is difficult to qualify for the final and theponies need more or less 6 clear rounds to qualify. They will all be competing with the best ponies of theirgeneration and many are ridden by some of the best French riders.

In 2015 Ulaly took part in the 7 year old Future Elite pony show jumping event. She had to go through manyclear rounds from 1.10 to 1.20m high fences. During the final the obstacles were over 1,20m. It is really a highlevel and only a professional rider can compete in this championship.

She has had many clear rounds in 1.10m/1.15m and 1.20m events, but I think her best result was in July2015 in Mâcon: in a class of 41 horses (no ponies!) with 12 clear rounds Ulaly finished 5th.

After four years away from her field, Ulaly is back home with her family…Mother Mistrale can be proud! Weare looking forwards to having Ulaly’s first foal in 2017.
