Upon arrival at El Dorado International Airport, a professional guidewill pick you up at the international arrivals exit to escort you toyour hotel. Your guide will pick you up at the hotel and start the day with a guided tourof the main attractions in Bogota, starting with a guided tour of the old town,the beautiful neighborhood of "La Candelaria". In the same district you visitthe Gold Museum. The museum, which was founded by the Colombian StateBank, was rebuilt in 2008 and is today the largest and most importantmuseum of pre-Columbian gold objects of its kind with its tens of thousandsof unique exhibits.
In addition to countless archaeological treasures of clay, stone, wood andtextile can be found here more than 35,000 stunning exhibits of gold. Amongthe most outstanding and important objects of the exhibition is the "GoldenRaft of El Dorado".
You will visit some interesting churches that were built during theoccupation by the Spanish crown. Continue to the Plaza de Bolivar, the mainsquare of the city, with its majestic buildings. We end the tour by visiting theBotero Museum, famous for its lush depictions of paintings and lushsculptures by the contemporary Colombian artist. The day ends with thereturn to the hotel. In Zipaquirá is the so-called Salt Cathedral, a completely salt-built church in a saltmine, which is referred to as the first wonder of the country.
The underground Salt Cathedral is one of the largest religious buildings in the world: Itis three-aisled, 120 meters long and over 8,500 square meters in area.
Inside the cave church everything is chiseled out of salt crystal: numerousmonumental crosses, statues and prayer stools. Also there are beautiful angels madeof sand stone. In addition to the main cathedral, there are small chapels and a CrossWalk with 14 stations linked by a series of labyrinthine tunnels.
This tour takes about half a day and you will be accompanied by a private guide. FromBogota to Zipaquirá it takes about 90 minutes by car. After lunch in Zipaquirá you willreturn to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. We are happy to giveyou further recommendations.

Private transfer with driver and guide to El Dorado Airport to takethe flight to Armenia. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by aguide and private driver, who will take you to the hotel Estrella delMonte which is surrounded by coffee plantations and a beautifullandscape. The transfer from one hotel to the other isapproximately five hours. The rest of the day is free activity toenjoy the hotel, the swimming pool and a hike through thebeautiful landscape of the Coffee Region.

The day begins with the visit of Salento, followed by the Cocora Valley, recognized forconserving its landscape with the national tree of Colombia: The Wax Palm. Therespective travel time is approximately 50 minutes. After enjoying a walk in theValley, you will head to the beautiful village of Filandia, located 40 minutes from theCocora Valley. There, after having lunch in a typical restaurant in the region, you willenjoy a tour in a coffee farm to learn about the coffee process. At the end of thisactivity, the transfer will be made back to the hotel.

You will be picked up for the transfer to the airport in Armenia totake a flight to Medellín. There a private driver and guide will takeyou to the Hotel Patio del Mundo. The hotel is located in the districtEl Poblado close to many bars, restaurants, museums and parks. Intotal, it will take approximately five hours for the transfer from onehotel to the other. The rest of the day is for acclimatization and afirst exploration of the city and the hotel facilities. We will behappy to suggest activities and restaurants in the city.

DAY 7 – MEDELLÍNC I T Y O F E T E R N A L S P R I N G
The activity today will be a city tour through Medellín. For this, you will be picked up at thehotel and transferred to the different points of this beautiful and organized city, where youcan see the contrast between the old and the modern of their houses and churches. You willenjoy its history, the parks and the street art, expressed through the works and museumsthat the city offers. At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the hotel. We are pleasedto make recommendations for the afternoon.

Today, we will visit one of the neighborhoods that suffered the most violence that hitthe country, located 40 minutes from the hotel. It is a neighborhood that hasrecovered its security and has improved the quality of life of its inhabitants. Inaddition to knowing the history of this neighborhood, which was listed as one of themost dangerous in the city several years ago, when drug trafficking had muchinfluence in the city, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Medellin. After finishing thetour, we will transfer you back to the hotel.

In the morning, you will be transported privately to the airport inMedellín to take your flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival, you willbe picked up by a private driver and guide and transferred to theSofitel Legend Santa Clara Hotel. The hotel is the perfect blend ofcolonial architecture and French luxury and it is close toCartagena’s main tourist attractions. The total transfer time willbe around three hours. The second day in Cartagena, you will be making a city tour for half a day. Cartagenais a city with a lot of history and fascinating places to visit, such as San Felipe deBarajas Castle and the historic center, just 15 minutes from the hotel. There is over500 years of history to be found here and Cartagena was also cataloged as UNESCOWorld Heritage in 1984. You will conduct the activity accompanied by a professionalguide. After the tour you will return to the hotel where you can decide where you wantto have lunch. For the afternoon we can again give you recommendations of places tovisit.

On the third day in Cartagena de Indias, you will visit the Rosario Islands. Your privatetransportation and guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the harbor, fromwhich you will leave in a private boat to the Islands to enjoy the sun and the CaribbeanSea. The beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters await you to have a day of restand tan, enjoying its sound and the fresh breeze. We recommend to try the fresh fishsold in the local restaurants. Later in the day, you will head back to the city.
