Unichip Quick Start Popular Question: What do I need to buy in order to get started?
Short Answer: You need a Plug and Play kit (if available), If not the only option would be a hardwired kit pre programmed with the correct map. If you want to tune your own map you might
consider getting the Universal Unichip Tuning Kit or you can buy the Unichip Reflash Kit.

You need a Map Switch (OPTIONAL)
Map switching can be done via a external map selection
switch
1) – 5 Way Switch – Allows you to switch between 5 different maps
1) – 2 Way Switch – Allows you to switch between 2 different maps
You need a Plug ‘n Play or Hardwired Kit
Installation options are:
1) – Plug ‘n Play harness – This is the easiest option, but not available for all makes and

1) - Buy ReFlash Software – Used to reflash your Unichip. We have hundreds of downloadable maps available for you to choose from, we can also create custom maps
based on data log files from your vehicle
2) - Buy Tuning Software – Gives you the ability to create, tune, and modify your own maps
The Unichip can be used on anything that has a computer controlled
engine. Typical uses are gasoline or diesel cars and trucks, motor
