Simple to useUnistage is made up of 3 main components, the frame, the deck and the Unilink. It is quick and simple to assemble without the need for tools.

The unique design means it can be built, dismantled and stored easily and quickly and can be configured by all ages.

The modular design allows for a vast array of layouts, ensuring you’ll always get the very best from your performance. You can add more staging and accessories at any time, to increase the flexibility of your stage.

Frame Deck Unilink

VersatileUnistage is a great addition to any venue, due to it’s ease of use and versatility. Quickly and simply, it can be reconfigured to suit any requirement.

Transform your stage from a simple podium for awards, to a single level stage for dance routines, to a catwalk for a fashion show, or a multi-level, tiered arrangement for a choir or orchestra.

QuietThe decks fit snugly on top of the frames due to its unique design. This allows sufficient yet minimal contact with the frames, ensuring that your stage is extremely quiet. Unistage’s unique Sound Absorbing System (SAS) ensures that the stage doesn’t interrupt your performance with any unnecessary noise.

Simple to storeUnistage is the ideal solution when space is at a premium, as it stores easily and compactly on a transportable storage shuttle, which fits through a standard width doorway.

LightweightUnistage is so lightweight that children can assist in building, reconfiguring and storing it.

Strong and durableUnistage is constructed from strong, robust steel frames and high quality birch plywood decks. A standard frame and deck is capable of supporting loads equivalent to 10 fully grown men.

Unistage is fully guaranteed against faults in materials, manufacture or workmanship, for a period of 10 years.

Unistage frames have undergone strict independent testing by FIRA, to ensure strength and stability and are certified to BS EN 6399-1:1996 and BS EN 15372 : 2008 Level 2.

Unistage makes choosing your stage simple

A Unistage is built from 3 simple components : Steel frames, Birch ply decks and locking Unilinks.

The frames, decks and links enable any hall or venue to build a stage or raised platform which creates the perfect environment for any event which can include: a simple podium in a classroom for show and tell by individual children, a catwalk for a fashion show to a full blown drama or show-stopping dance performance.

Because Unistage is modular the stage can be configured to many different layouts and sizes. Each standard unit is 750x750mm and can be added to at any time. You can choose to use as little as one unit or the whole of the stage set.

SetsOur standard stage sets have evolved from our customers who have set the trend of such purchases. Hence, we have compiled stage sets which offer such variation to a host of different venues. The set number refers to the quantity of decks which cover the area required for the stage.

Sets are delivered as a complete package and always include the required number of: decks, frames, stacker frames (for a multi-level stage), Unilinks, steps and storage shuttles. These components make up everything needed for a stage. Unistage offers ranges of safety, scenery and storage accessories which can be added to the set package.

The sets shown in the brochure are examples of our most popular size options. Unistage can offer set sizes of any number depending on each venue’s requirements.

SET 12 FLAT

Flat StageA flat stage is the perfect platform for theatrical drama, dance productions and exercise classes. The stage is a completely flat performance area with no holes or plastic bungs on the stage surface. Each deck is treated with a non-slip lacquer so movement on the stage is free and uninhibited.

A catwalk for a fashion show can be configured using the flat stage which can be used as a fundraising event in each venue.

Flat stages are also the ideal format for formal presentations, assemblies and lectures. Flat stages can also be used as a raised platform in a reception, atrium or room to segment the space and create a focal point in that open space which is perfect for exhibiting.

SET 32 MULTI LEVEL

Multi-Level StageA multi-level stage is an ideal solution for choirs and orchestras. Multi-level tiering means that all choir or orchestra members are clearly visible to the audience as opposed to just the front row of performers on a flat stage.

Multi-level stages can also be configured as a flat stage too. This makes a cost-effective solution and the perfect choice for any venue.

A Unistage multi-level stage is made up of the same 750 x 750mm components as our flat staging with the addition of stacker frames. No tools or extra parts are needed, and our stacker frames fit into standard frames, enabling you to build a stage of three or more varying heights with no fuss.

Because a Unistage multi-level stage is modular it can be configured to a range of different layouts and heights to suit every occasion. This can include an elevated area for narration or solo performance.

Tiered StagingUnistage has developed a range of unique modular tiering which is ideal for standing performers such as choirs, or for seated audiences.

Uni Tier can be tiered at multiple heights by using different base frame and stacker frames.

Uni Tier900 measures 750 x 900mm and is available in heights of 180mm, 360mm, 540mm and 720mm. The 900mm length provides adequate space for a chair and legroom for performers or an audience that needs to be seated.

Our Uni Tier500 is perfectly suited for standing performance or terraced standing for your audience. It comes in standard heights of 180mm, 360mm, 540mm and 720mm, plus stacker frames.

Unistage offers 4 different heights of frame as standard ; 180mm, 360mm, 540mm and 720mm all of which are 750mm x 750mm and form the basis of your staging. While providing a safe step distance between levels for all ages and abilities, these heights also prove popular with a variety of venues.

Our stacker frames can be stacked inside other frames or used stand alone. The stacker frames enable different heights to be created, increments of 180mm, giving added flexibilty.

All frames are complete with floor protector feet.

The standard lightweight steel frame finish is hard wearing and durable zinc yellow and laquer, or a choice of several epoxy powdercoated coloured finishes at no extra charge.

All decks are manufactured from B quality birch plywood and are finished as standard in a clear, slip resistant acrylic laquer.

Decks are also available in a selection of finishes including a range of carpet colours and an extensive choice of wood stained finishes, including black.

Duo decks are carpeted on one side and have a standard finish on the reverse. This means that the stage decks are reversible and can be used with a carpeted or wooden surface.

ShuttlesStandard staging sets come with spiral stack shuttles, which can hold up to 24 Unidecks and frames.

With a diameter of 1.07m and a height of up to 2.20m spiral storage shuttles are ideal for most storage situations. A loaded storage shuttle will comfortably fit through a double doorway.

However, if you are concerned about transporting your staging through narrow areas and doorways, you may want to consider that frames and decks can be stored inline on an inline shuttle which will allow the stage to fit through a standard single doorway.

Guardrail ShuttleGuardrail storage shuttles offer a neat storage solution for large sets of guardrails. With each shuttle you can store up to 20 guardrails, or 10 guardrails and up to 12 scenery flats. This will protect them from damage and make them easier to transport.

Scenery FlatsScenery flats are an ideal way of painting your own scenery to suit your performance. They are strong and durable, with a steel frame and MDF face. The scenery flats are covered with white primer, ready for you to paint with poster-paint.

Unistage also offers a design and print service, to enable you to have interchangeable, pre-printed scenery flats to your specific requirements. Price on application.

Hanging your scenery flats is no problem, they simply hook onto the horizontal pole of your drape post set and onto the stage, with the scenery flat locator plates supplied.

Risers / FasciasRisers are used to fill the gaps between different levels of a multi-level stage. Fascias are used as an alternative to valances to finish off the front and sides of a stage.

Risers and fascias are manufactured from high quality plywood and are simple to attach to frames. In 180mm, 360mm and 540mm heights as standard, but bespoke sizes can be made if required.

ValancesValances are the perfect way to finish off your stage.

Each valance attaches to any of your frames using strong magnets. A solid plastic rail threads through the back of the valance so there is no sagging.
