LAB 11: Ava and Ria went to a salon to bleach their hair. One hairdresser used hydrogen peroxide stored in a colorless bottle while the other hairdresser used hydrogen peroxide stored in a dark bottle. After bleaching their hair, Ava noticed that Ria’s hair was not completely bleached. Suggest a hypothesis for the storage of hydrogen peroxide and design an experiment to test your hypothesis. NOTE: The hypothesis MUST contain some chemical principle that can be investigated. It must not focus on Ava and Ria's hair. LAB 12 : For manned exploration of exo-planets, two new fuels have been developed. DP 100 and DP 250. Both have similar molar mass and thus weight consideration is not an issue. However, the amount of energy generated by each fuel is the major concern. Your objective is to determine which fuel generates more energy and thus more thrust on combustion. SIDE NOTE: Exo planets are planets not in the solar system.
