What does globalization mean to you?Globalization is the idea that the world is developing a single economy and culture as a result of improved technology and communications and the influence of very large multinational companies.

Multinational companies

DHL was founded in 1969 by three Americans with the last names, Dalsey, Hillblom, and Lynn. They started out by transporting packages from San Francisco to Honolulu. Now DHL employs over 500,000 people and operates throughout the world. In 2002, it was bought by the German postal service, Deutsche Post.Think of examples of other multinational companies.Stative verbs (state verbs)Stative verbs (believe, know, like, seem, sound, mean, promise, remember) are not normally used in progressive tenses. Non-stative verbs are sometimes known as action verbs. There are a number of verbs that have both stative and non-stative uses.
