Unpunctuated Nonfiction Passage (1)

Wolves do not talk like we do but they communicate in

other ways they make many sounds including whimpers

growls barks whines and pants all of which mean different

things a growl means a wolf is not happy and a whimper

says that it is scared or hurt adult wolves hardly ever bark

but pups bark when they are playing or to call for help a

wolfs most famous sound is the howl.

Puzzle SticksMaterials: craft sticks

1. Lay twelve craft sticks side by side. Line the ends up evenly. Tape the sticks to keep them lined up and then number them from one to twelve. Flip the sticks over.

2. Use a pencil to sketch a picture on the untaped side. Color the picture with markers. Remove the tape from the back.

3. Mix up the sticks and then try to put them back together. You can make a more difficult puzzle by using more sticks.

Putting on Your Shoes and Socks1. Put on your right shoe.

2. Tie the laces on the left shoe.

3. Put on your left shoe.

4. Make the right shoe tight.

5. Put on your right sock.
