USCB’s Hospitality program provides a comprehensive curriculum
that focuses on preparing students for managerial positions in the
hospitality, hotel, restaurant and tourism industry. Careers include
Club Management, Time Share Administration, Hotels and Resorts,
Restaurants, Resort Management Companies, Entrepreneurship,
Sales & Marketing, Beverage Operational Suppliers and the
private and public tourism sectors. This comprehensive degree
prepares graduates for management positions in almost any
service industry.

With world-class golf, tennis, boating and accommodation facilities, beaches,
creeks and marshes, excellent dining and nightlife, arts and cultural centers,
and environmental and historical educational sites and programs, this region
offers the perfect learning laboratory for hospitality studies and for enjoying
your time at the University. A variety of internships and employment opportu-
nities are available for students and graduates on Hilton Head Island and in
Beaufort. Many local businesses provide tuition assistance for Hospitality
Management students who work in the field while completing their education.
All students complete an internship as part of the degree program.
The resort island of Hilton Head and the historic town of Beaufort attract
visitors from around the world, providing a unique opportunity for students
to study hospitality management in a real-life learning laboratory. The North
campus of USCB is situated in the Beaufort National Historic District. The new
South Campus, with on-campus housing, is located at the Gateway to Hilton
Head Island.
Graduates of the Hospitality Management program will be prepared to build
successful careers in the booming tourism industry. We invite you to join us

The mission of the hospitality management program
is to provide and continually improve a curriculum
responsive to the dynamics of the international
hospitality industry. Graduates will be prepared to
serve in leadership and management positions in a
wide range of capacities including careers in lodging,
food service, time-share operations, golf operations,
resort operations, conference and convention arenas,
private clubs, continuing care/retirement facilities, and
public and private tourism organizations, among others.
