BENEFITS OF A LIBERAL STUDIES DEGREE

Liberal Studies, like other degrees in the humanities and social

sciences, prepares graduates for graduate studies and positions

where degrees, not specific majors, are required. Individualized

upper level curricula support graduate study and careers appropriate

to graduates’ particular interests.

“One thing a liberalarts education ismeant to do is to

instill a philosophyof lifelong learning.”

Richard Levy

“Liberal Studies is an interdisciplinary degree with an individualized

curriculum designed for the student who has academic interests broader

than any single discipline encompasses.”
