Service Provider Tools User Guide for Service Providers

Online Service Provider Tools Agency information in the 2-1-1 database can be easily accessed online for reviewing, changing, and updating information. Visit mi211.org or the website of any local 2-1-1 center to access Service Provider tools. This user guide will give step by step instructions on how to gain access, review your agency’s information, and make changes.

Online Resource Database Search The all new resource search can be accessed from www.mi211.org or the website of your local 2-1-1 Center, which makes access to the search easy and convenient. The search page will appear as shown here.

your record displays to the

Service Provider Tools The link to access service provider tools is found at the bottom of the resource search page.
Clicking the link will take you to the page shown here. From this page you can submit information online to add your agency & services to our database, request a password to access your agency record, and log in to review and update your agency’s record information.
Click ‘Get Listed’ to access an online form to submit information about your agency and its services.

The form will appear as shown below. All fields labeled in red must be completed before submitting the form. This information will be sent to a 2-1-1 database curator and your agency will be contacted for follow up.
If your agency is already listed, you can click ‘Request Password’ to send a request for the user ID and password to access your agency record.

Fill out the form and a member of the 2-1-1 staff will contact you by email or phone to provide a user ID and password.
If you already have a user ID and password, you can click ‘Service Provider Login’ to access your agency information.

You will be taken to our software platform’s log in page. Enter your assigned User ID and Password. This can be done if you are responding to an update request from 2-1-1 or any time you have changes to your agency’s record.
After logging in, you will see a screen to enter (or confirm) the information of the agency contact person. After reviewing and/or making changes, click the save button.

The next screen will show a drop down menu that lists all sites/locations for your agency. Select a site to review the record information and make changes.
Current information is displayed in the left column. Click the blue edit button next to a field to make changes or updates. Requested changes will appear in the right column.

Further down the page are sections for Contact & Business Info, Additional Information, and other programs. Click where it says ‘click to review/edit’ to review and/or change information in these fields. If there are no updates needed click the ‘No Changes’ button on the bottom right of the screen.
To make changes to any field, click the blue ‘edit’ button and a box will appear. Use this box to make changes to current information. After making changes click ‘Save’. To close the box without making changes click ‘cancel’ and to delete the information click ‘Delete’.

After entering the updated information and clicking save, the new information will appear in the white boxes on the right. To make another change to the same field, simply click the edit button to make additional changes.

Remember to review the sections at the bottom of the page.
If any changes are made to the record the button at the bottom of the page will read ‘Save Page’, click this button when you are done making changes.
Click here to save
changes.

A dialogue box will open asking you to confirm this action. Click Yes to accept, select No to go back and make more changes. You can log in again at any time to make more changes.
After saving your changes you will return to the page shown below where you can select another site to review from the drop down menu.
If there are no changes click here.
Once you are done
click ‘Survey
Complete.’
