Options Code Specifications

3.4 Operation The machine is intended for automatically picking up and / or drop of pots in which the pick-up and landing position can be located on different heights. In the case of a pickup robot in most cases a container will be supplied by a transport system. The plants are placed in a specific pattern in the container. The robot detects miter pattern automatically (optional). The fork is automatically routed to the correct position. The pre-programmed positions determine the movement and the put position. In the case of a put robot plants are provided to the robot with a supply belt. The robot will collect the required number of plants, then automatically pick up and put down at a predefined position. The versatility and the setting options give the user maximum flexibility in this process.

6.2.12.1 Solving a fork crash The motors are controlled in the robot by frequency and servo controllers. These detect overload and short circuit of the engines after which they will interrupt the control of the motors. Check the cause of the overload or short circuit and rectify this. After resetting the controller, it is possible to drive the engines.

If the fork collides in its movement in the Z direction against an obstacle, four crash sensors will stop the fork. In a crash this screen is displayed:

By pressing the "right arrow" button this screen appears.

You can manually move the fork from the crash situation. Procedure:

1. Press the arrow keys in the circle to move the fork.

Make sure that the fork does not crash against something so that the damage to the machine may get worse.

2. If the fork is moved to a free space, then press the "right arrow".

3. By pressing the "right arrow" button you will get to this screen.

4. Remove all products from the fork and ensure that the machine is free to move to its home position.

In moving towards the home position the fork will choose the shortest path. Ensure that the path to be taken to the home position is clear of obstructions. If this is not the case then you can go back to the previous screen to move the fork farther out manually.

5. By pressing the "right arrow" button you will get to

this screen. 6. Hold the blue button on the screen to move the fork

to the home position until the following screen appears:

This screen appears if the home position is reached and is followed by the screen below.

Make sure the machine has not suffered any damage. If the machine has not been damaged, you can reboot the machine.

7 Maintenance

Follow all instructions described in this manual, in particular chapter safety.

Maintenance of this machine must be performed in compliance with warnings on the machine and in accordance with the user manual by qualified personnel. This machine automatically moves pots and / or

containers and possesses advanced techniques. To ensure continuity, we recommend to call in case of emergencies our expertise. For maintenance, we recommend that you contact our service department. Make sure you have properly followed the instructions in the manual, the machine operates then not properly consult the Javo service. Keep hands, hair, loose clothing and / or jewellery away from moving parts of the machine. Wear appropriate clothing without loose parts. Wear non-slip work shoes.

As long as the machine is on, no connection or safety devices may be removed. The machine may only be used when all protective devices and safety-related facilities are available and ready for use. Always unplug the plug from the socket before starting maintenance. Wear personal protective equipment (see section 2.3). Inform operating personnel before start maintenance. Interrupt if possible the power (mains), before the machine is investigated or maintained by turning off the main switch and locking it and pull the plug from the socket. If work must be done with power supply (mains) voltage on the machine, work with an additional person who can operate the emergency stop.

7.1 Preventive Maintenance For the following maintenance instructions normal use is considered. With heavy use, or use under extreme conditions, maintenance should be performed at shorter intervals. Item 1x per... Comments Machine Day Check if moving parts are functioning correctly and not clamping and /

or parts are broken or damaged in such a way that the operation is adversely affected. Have damaged parts repaired before use.

Guides Day Make sure the guides are clean and do not produce unusual sound. Timing belts Day Make sure the straps run straight over the timing belt pulleys, and that

there are no cracks in the belts. Guide rollers Day Check that the guide rollers do not slip when moving belts and do not

produce unusual sound Machine Day Remove fallen pots and other materials which affect the operation of

the machine and could get in the way. Touch screen Day Clean the screen. Use a soft dry cloth. If the dirt is firmer, you can clean

with a damp cloth. Do not use a wet cloth. Sensors Day Clean. Make sure there is no dirt on or in front of the sensors. Clean

sensors carefully so they do not move or twist. Conveyor Day Check voltage. See section "Mounting, installation and commissioning." Safety components Week Test the safety circuit. See section “Test safety circuit”. Pictograms Week Check readability and replace if necessary. Bearings Month Lubricate with little grease. Pressure reducer Month Empty moisture trap. Electrical installation Year Check for damage. Electric motors Year Remove dust.

Set the miter choice manually and start the machine.

Pots stay in pick up position. The sensor at the pick position is not released during the pick, so the next shot cannot continue automatically.

Restore the turnip position so that the sensor is released and then start the machine.

Mitre Pattern error while turnips. There is missing a line or a pot remained, in which the system cannot decide how to proceed.

Set the miter choice manually and start the machine.

In the extreme case: The machine does not move.
