BEFORE USE

The MPA-BOX functions on the mains.

MAINS POWER:OnlyconnecttheMPA-BOXtoamainspowerof230Volt.InmostEuropeancountries,themainsoperateson230Volts.

UsethesuppliedpowercordtoconnecttheMPA-BOXwiththemains.

SPEAKER SETUP

POWER SWITCH:Usethepowerswitchtoturnthespeakeronandoff.

MASTER VOLUME (lower level button):Themastervolumecontrolallowsyoutocontrolthetotalvolumeleveloftheset.Whenthisvolumecontrolisswitchedoff(counter-clockwise),thesetwillnotproduceanysound.ATTENTION:Turnthiscontrolfullycounter-clockwisebeforeswitchingonthesettopreventthevolumelevelfrombeingtoohigh.

SeparateequipmentcanbeconnectedtottheMPA-BOX,e.g.aDVDplayer(ka-raoke),minidiskplayerorseparateMP3player.Thesedevicesmustbeprovidedwithalineoutput.Useasuitablecable(notincluded)toconnectthesedevicestotheLINEINinput,theAUXinputoftheset.

MIC VOLUME CONTROL (microphone) (upper level button):Anexternalmicrophoneorelectricdevicewithcablescanbeconnectedtothe“MIC input”(XLR)(balanced/symetrical)and(Jack)(balanced/symmetrical).TheMICvolumecontrolallowsyoutoadjustthevolumeoftherelatedinput.Keepinmindtoslightlyturnupthemastervolumecontrol,otherwiseyouwon’thearanything.

LINE VOLUME CONTROL (AUX): (centre level button) - XLR input. - Cinch input.Het is aan te raden om of de XLR input of de Cinch input separaat te gebruiken. WerecommendyoutouseeithertheXLRinputortheCinchinputseparately.Usingbothinputssimultaneouslycanleadtosounddistortion.TheLINEINvolumecontrolallowsyoutoadjustthevolumeoftherelatedinput.Keepinmindtoslightlyturnupthemastervolumecontrol,otherwiseyouwon’thearanything.

Treble:Usethiscontroltoadjustthelevelofthehighertones.

Bass: Usethiscontroltoadjustthelevelofthelowertones.

LINE OUT:6.3mmjacksymmetricaloutputforanadditionalamplifier.

EXTRA LSPEAKER:It’spossibletoconnecttheMPA-BOXasanadditionalspeakertotheMPAseries.Inthiscase,thesignalcomesfromtheMPAseriesspeakerwhichalreadyhasabuilt-inaudiosource.Usethesuppliedsignalcabletoconnectthetweespeakersasbelow.TheMPA-BOXcanbeorderedasanextraspeakerfortheMPAseries.

TheMPA-BOXoperateson230Vmainspower,i.e.mainspowermustbepresent.TheinputoftheMPA-BOXhastwodifferentinputconnections.
