WHAT IS DATA DRIVEN INSTRUCTION?

Teachers collecting and analyzing data on studentperformance to inform instructional decisions

Teachers using data to intervene as appropriate inorder to facilitate continued learning

Diagnostic- identify strengths, misconceptions andweaknesses to inform planning

Formative- monitor student progress to adjustinstruction

Summative- evaluate student mastery of GPS
