Postgraduate qualifications from UTSare highly respected. Some peopleinvest in further study because it isrequired for career progression. Othershave reached their preferred level butsimilarly want to increase their depth ofknowledge and experience so they cantake on work that is more challenging, stimulating and ultimately, rewarding.
Masters vs Grad CertFor many, a Masters degree is thequalification that will help you achieveyour goals. The 12 subject courseprovides you with the requisite skillsfor high level roles like Clinical NurseConsultant, or Nurse Unit Manager. You can mix and match majors,sub-majors and electives to createthe degree thats right for you.
For others, the focus is specialisationwhere a Graduate Certificate in an
area like Diabetes Education andManagement or Perioperative Nursingcan help you focus your expertise.
Flexible exit and entry pointsOur Masters degrees offer maximumflexibility. Exit after four subjects witha graduate certificate in your chosenspecialty, or after eight subjects witha graduate diploma providing youmeet the degree requirements.
Generally you can upgrade yourgraduate certificate to a graduatediploma or masters by completingadditional subjects. This can be a quickprogression, rolling up from one to
another, or after a period of absence.
