Travis Green was named the 19th Head Coach of the Vancouver Canucks on April 26, 2017 and will enter his second season behind an NHLbench. In his first season as an NHL Head Coach, Green led the Canucks to a 31-40-11 record employing an aggressive and fast style with ayoung core including Brock Boeser and Bo Horvat. Green was promoted from his role as Head Coach of the Utica Comets, the Canucks’ AHLaffiliate, where he served for four seasons.
