Side panel fixing bolts

The side panels are secured to the bike via 6 x 5/16 bolts. These have an oversized head in order to spread the load on the fibreglass panels. In addition there should be a washer placed beneath bolt head when fitting. This should be a little larger than the head itself. Since I was unable to buy the item, I had some made up in Stainless steel.

Primary side fixings 2- battery blade

This fixing on the LHS of the bike is additionally the blade that secures the bike battery. Normally this blade is made without the top hat fitting. I had to purchase the blade with the top hat from Mike Fotherby.
