Brief description of adventure:
Etno village Vevchani, an open-sky museum is situated on the
slopes of the Jablanica mountain,
along the western shore of Lake Ohrid. The village is located on
a slope, starting at an altitude of
800 m.a.s.l., with its upper end as high as 950 m.a.s.l. It is
one of the most interesting places in
the area, with its narrow, steep streets and the wealth of
rushing streams – 1500 liters per
second. The most famous event is the internationally renowned
Vevchani Carnival, a tradition of
over 1400 years, which takes place on the 13 th and 14 th of
January every year.

participants with SPD pedals should
give them to the guides to be installed on the bikes.

Starting from Ohrid, we head 30 km on asphalt road to Vevchani,
passing through Struga, villages
Shum, Zagrachani, Dolna Belica and Oktisi.
11:00 a.m.
Arrival at Vevchani. The Vevchani springs are some of the most
famous springs to be found in the Republic of Macedonia. The
springs are located on the eastern slope of the Jablanica
mountain range which run through the village of Vevchani at an
approximately sea level altitude of 900 meters. The largest spring
is located at the opening of one of the many caves in the region.
Below the largest spring are ten minor springs which all converge
together.

After biking, you will experience another adventure, horse
riding in the area of Vevchani, an
unforgettable ride on horseback through the beautiful forest to
the church of St.Spas.

Visit National Restaurant Kutmichevica, short brake to taste
traditional dishes.
02:00 p.m.
Biking towards Ohrid (same way back).
04:00 p.m.
Arrival at Ohrid, at your hotel where the conference is
scheduled.
