Editorial...As we come to the end of another academic year, we look back with fondness and pride at the labour

of love that has gone into making it holistically enriching. It has been an event packed year that sawthe calendar dotted with numerous activities, both curricular and extracurricular. Such an achievementis simply inconceivable without the active and wholehearted participation of the students, facultymembers and the non-teaching staff.

We at Clarion feel extremely honoured in being associated with the compilation of this issue (VolXIII). We have tried to encapsulate the progress and achievements of all the individuals and departmentswho have been associated in keeping the flag of OUCW flying high. Besides their regular teachingsassignments, which they have performed with unstinted dedication, the faculty represented theinstitution at various seminars, national and international conferences, paper presentations andbrought laurels to the institution. The students lived up to the expectations of their teachers andexcelled in academics as well as in various other extracurricular activities, both within and outsidethe institution. They actively participated in NSS, NCC and sports which helped inculcate a sense ofsocial service and need for team work. All these activities are a demonstration of the emphasis that welay on achieving all-round development of the students in order to prepare them to meet the challengesthat they are bound to face in an ever changing world and the fact that we have been successful in thisendeavor is reflected in the total number of placements of our students by the corporate world.

We, at Clarion have the unenviable task of trying to include all the achievements of our staff andstudents in the following pages. We have tried to highlight as many achievements and accolades aspossible. However, given the constraints of space, we may have inadvertently, excluded some of thenews worthy information. We hope that such omissions may be taken in the right spirit.

Lastly, we come to the most pleasurable task of such endeavors, ie acknowledging the support wereceived in preparing this edition. We take this opportunity to thank the Principal and the Vice-Principalfor their constant encouragement. We would like to thank the faculty, the office staff and the studentsfor extending their unstinted cooperation at all times.
