Through duo commissions performed by violinist Jennifer Koh and a composer including Vijay Iyer, Tyshawn Sorey, Lisa Bialawa or Missy Mazzioli, Limitless celebrates the collaborative relationship between composer and performer, while also exploring the historical role of the composer as performer. This project highlights the spirit of collaboration that is dispelling the notion that composition and performance are discrete and detached parts of the musical process, as well as confirming the diversity of music being created today by including composers of different backgrounds, musically and otherwise.

Limitless includes Jennifer Koh performing with one of these prolific composers who will play their compositions and other works to be announced. Limitless premieres in two programs at National Sawdust in Brooklyn, NY on March 15 & 31, 2018.
