Some of the key features of the National Sport School are:• Communication – being able to discuss and manage

personal workload• Full year course opportunities – Case study – Winter

athletes often select certain courses to be full year (September to June) to accommodate sport expectations

• Extending the number of years in high school –student-athlete may add another year of high school to “lighten the load” while planning their training and competition schedule.

Some of the key features of the National Sport School are:

• Older students will have spares if they have successfully completed the Grade 9 and 10 school subjects as organized by NSS.

• If an older student has access to spares; they may match their Calgary training schedule.

• Students that train at COP can access their teachers daily. (Stop by class for a few minutes, make appointments, or visit during tutorial blocks, etc.)
