Machines are becoming ever more advanced and can handle even more. But people are still required to operate them and the pressure is often high. Moreover, the operator of a large machine can see hardly anything directly around him. There are large blind spots on every side of the machine. Therefore, nowa-days safety has a high priority. This can clearly be seen in the recently introduced ISO5006 standard and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG. Orlaco`s vision solutions allow this requirement to be met without pro-blem!

Shovels, excavators and dump trucks; these are only a few examples of complex machines where good vision is essential to al-low the work to progress smoothly. But that is not always possible wit-hout the aid of additional equipment. Orlaco`s vision solutions improve operational effi ciency. And results in immediate economic benefi ts.

However worn the cliche; an acci-dent is always waiting to happen. And large earth-moving machines have numerous large and small cor-ners from which they can emerge. And then damage easily occurs. Either to the machine itself or to people or objects in its vicinity. A vision solution from Orlaco gives the machinist the additional eyes he needs, irrespective of the machine or the situation in which the work is being carried out.

Modern machines are comfortable, due, for instance, to air-conditioning or seats fi tted with air suspension. But the seating position in the cab is standard and assumes a machi-nist sitting straight up. However, he must often move into unnatural positions to be able to follow what is going on. And this can lead to in-jury. Or worse; the machinist is for-ced to stop working for an indefi nite period. An Orlaco vision solution enables the driver to maintain a cor-rect posture and allows him to work in more comfort. That offers a dual benefi t!

For additional ease of use and safety, we also sup-ply a wireless system. set Sideview The Sideview set can do what mirrors often can`t. And that is: provide good vision to the side of the machine. Your blind spots disappear immediately. And however severe the conditions, or stringent the regulations, Orlaco delivers the required quality.

The monitors are equipped with handy options, such as a mirror image display and, if required, the display of a marker-line. A boon in many work situations! And what do you think of the au-tomatic brightness control. No matter how bright the sun, or how dark it is, you will always have a good view!

Orlaco cameras are heated and waterproof (IP69K). The cam-eras can resist the jet of a high-pressure cleaner, for instance when the machine is being cleaned.

set Rear-Sideview Orlaco has extensive sets available to be able to tailor the standard solutions. For instance, the Rear-Sideview combination is frequently requested. This combination eliminates the largest blind spots at the side and rear of your machine.

Your manoeuvrability increases immediately. Turning, reversing; everything becomes much easier and safer. And your Orlaco vi-sion solution is also safe, as it is impact and vibration proof. Mo-reover, it is cleverly mounted in a robust bracket.

set Toolview Whatever it is you are doing, you want to see what is going on. When writing for instance, you can see to the millimetre the po-sition of your pen on the page. However, the larger the tool, the more diffi cult it is to have suffi cient vision. Even so, many people operate in large potentially dangerous machines without having a good view of what they are doing. A Toolview set from Orlaco is then the solution.

Due to the robust construction, an Orlaco camera for instance can be safely mounted on the arm of an excavator. This guaran-tees a clear view of the job. The work becomes not only safer, but also more effi cient. Due to our years of experience in vision solutions for earth-moving equipment, we know exactly where and how to mount your camera. But of course, we take your indi-vidual wishes into account.

For additional ease of use and safety, we even supply a wireless system.
